OBOE/ENGLISH HORN/BASSOON REPAIR SERVICES: CLEAN, OIL AND ADJUST (COA)
Intended to keep your oboe, English horn, or bassoon in playing condition and extend the time between overhauls.
All keys are cleaned and oiled. The body joints are thoroughly cleaned and the wood elements are lightly oiled with bore oil as required. The mechanism is unpinned and internally cleaned and oiled. Springs, tenon corks, and bumpers are tested and replaced if necessary. The keys are reassembled and the instrument is regulated. Any pad leveling needed is done, and the instrument is play tested. Plastic/student instruments are $175, wood body instruments are $200.

Pad replacements are $20/each and include the price of the pad and labor to install the pad

Crack repairs are $40 per each crack, and if needed, each carbon fiber pin needed adds $20 per pin

Tenon corks or lapped bassoon tenons are $25 each

All other services including minor "quick" repairs, complete overhauls/repads and other individual repairs require a custom estimate starting at $90/hour.
BAGPIPE REPAIR SERVICES:

Tenon lapping/fitting for chanters or drones are $25 each

Bag seasoning, bag repair, bellows repair, key or tone hole adjustments, and other individual repairs require a custom estimate starting at $90/hour
